Checking In
- Mindful Morning Check-In - Use this free poster and activity to encourage a more mindful day for kids and teens (and adults, too!). The poster (available in both English and Spanish) includes both digital and printable pages to allow students to write in their responses if they choose. Students will:
- Slowly take five deep breaths.
- List four things they can see or notice.
- List three things they are grateful for.
- Say two positive self-talk statements.
- Name one thing they are looking forward to.
- Student Mental Health Check In - This student mental health check in sheet is the perfect way to gauge how your students are feeling. It lets you in on information they may not want to share with anyone else and allows them to set goals for the next day. You can also use this as a completely private check in where students will use it to keep track of their own mental health without sharing information with anyone.
